People news: Catabasis Pharmaceuticals and Roska Healthcare Advertising

Catabasis Pharmaceuticals, which develops novel therapeutics for treating inflammatory and metabolic diseases, hired Michael Curtis, Ph.D., as VP, product development, a new role. Curtis, who will lead the company's product development strategy and oversee preclinical programs and clinical trials, spent the last five years at Infinity Pharmaceuticals, most recently as VP, pharmaceutical development.

Roska Healthcare Advertising named Ross Thomson chief creative officer. Thomson joins Roska from Vox Medica, where he was chief ideation officer, having presided over the shop's new brand identity. Roska president and CEO Jay Bolling took over the agency in January after buying out namesake partner Jon Roska.
