Everyday Health promoted Ju-Don Roberts to GM and SVP. In her new role, Roberts will oversee the web, mobile, social, video and product strategies for EverydayHealth.com and will report to Paul Slavin, SVP/GM, global news and Everyday Health Studios. She joined the company in July 2011 as VP and editor-in-chief, news and audience development.

Data, analytics and technology holding company Symphony Health Solutions hired William Nelligan as CEO. Nelligan had been with IMS Health for more than a decade and had held multiple positions, most recently president, US and Americas. Symphony is the new parent company, launched in May by private equity firm Symphony Technology Group, to house four companies: AlphaDetail, ImpactRx, Source Healthcare Analytics and TargetRx.

Quadrant HealthCom named John Hickner, MD, MSc, editor-in-chief of The Journal of Family Practice (JFP). Hickner, who is chairman, Department of Family Medicine, Cleveland Clinic, has served for more than 10 years as JFP's associate editor for original research and is also an editor of the journal's monthly PURLs (Priority Updates from the Research Literature) column.
