MANUFACTURERS Schering-Plough announced the appointment of Trevor Juniper as general manager, Schering-Plough China, for its pharmaceutical business, based in Shanghai. He will report to Rodney Unsworth, group vice president and president, Asia-Pacific Region. Juniper most recently served as senior director, Regional Marketing, Primary Care, Asia-Pacific Region. He joined Schering-Plough in 2003 in Australia as director, Primary Care. Before that, Juniper held marketing positions in Canada with General Mills, Marion Merrell Dow and Boehringer Ingelheim, and in Australia with the former Pharmacia Corporation.
CommonHealth’s professional specialty agency Altum, has promoted JerryFishlin to the role of EVP, director of client services. Fishlin brings to the job more than 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and business development in biotechnology, with a focus in the oncology and hematology markets. He began his career as a professional sales representative at Schering Corporation and advanced through the ranks to become senior product manager for marketing. Following his tenure there, Fishlin built his career with senior marketing positions at companies such as Chiron Corporation and US Bioscience. In 1994 he founded Bio Resources, a consulting company working with biotech start-ups and early-stage oncology products. Fishlin joined Altum nearly one year ago as a SVP, director of client services.
AbelsonTaylor has appointed Robert Enos to media director, reporting to Greg Niemczyk, vice president and account director. Enos joins AbelsonTaylor after 13 years at Communications Media, where he was senior director of media strategies and managed the agency’s Philadelphia office.
Flashpoint Medica appointed John Spetrino as chief creative officer. He will report directly to Charlene Prounis, managing partner and president. Before joining Flashpoint, Spetrino was one of the founders of a communications firm that focused on medical marketing for healthcare patients.

With more than 12 years of experience in healthcare and marketing communications, Adam Handler joined CCX as Group Account Manager. Kara Rouleau will support both CCX and XME as Medical Editor and Writer. Rouleau has more than 7 years of experience as an editor and writer in promotional medical communications, continuing medical, pharmacy, and nursing education, and journal publication. StaceyBaca will serve as CHC’s event manager. Baca brings 21 years of public relations and customer service experience.
