Wyeth’s Mary Katherine Wold has been promoted to the position of SVP, tax and treasury.  Wold joined Wyeth in 2002 as VP, taxes, and currently serves on Wyeth’s Human Resources and Benefits Committee. Prior to joining Wyeth, Wold was a partner in the New York law firm of Shearman & Sterling and was head of its worldwide tax practice group from 1995 through 2000.

Blue Diesel, a part of the inChord Communications division of Ventiv Health, recently welcomed the following people to its staff. Jennifer Burkhardt has been named account manager.  Prior to Blue Diesel, Burkhardt served as performance improvement consultant at Eli Lilly & Company.  Nicholas Carron is a new senior interactive designer at Blue Diesel.  Previously, Carron served as senior multimedia graphic designer at MindLeaders. Bryan Duffie has been named interactive designer.  Before this, Duffie served as a graphic designer at The Voinovich Center for Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University. Aaron Reiser comes to the company as interactive art director. Prior to Blue Diesel, Reiser served as online creative manager & information architect for Real Living.  TJ Sochor has been named media specialist. Prior to Blue Diesel, Socher served as motion graphics designer/creative director at SOS Video Communications. 

Carbon, CommonHealth’s professional advertising and promotion agency, has announced the addition of seven new hires: Michele Moss joins as a SVP, creative director/copy. Barbara Kelly joins as a VP, account group supervisor. Pat Roque will serve as a new account supervisor. Jennifer Fajnor joins as a group art supervisor. Scott Annunziata joins as studio manager. Bridget Allen joins as a graphic designer. Dawn Scholz joins as a business manager.

Ilam Shah was named public relations assistant at full-service agency Lanmark Group and will fulfill that position on all agency accounts. Shah will develop, edit and distribute client press releases to all major healthcare industry publications. Prior to joining Lanmark Group, Shah held the position of account associate at Manning, Selvage & Lee Public Relations, based in New York.  Kimberley Kaiserman has joined the The Hal Lewis Group in the position of copywriter. Previously, she was senior writer at Al Paul Lefton Company Advertising and Marketing. Jason Winner joins in the position of account executive. Previously, he held the position of account executive at Gillespie Advertising. Additionally, Emily Donato has been promoted from account executive to senior account executive, and Charles Brophy from account coordinator to assistant account executive.

Altum, part of Common-Health, has six new hires.  Karen Thompson joins Altum as an SVP, management supervisor.  Previously, Thompson was employed at Ferguson, CommonHealth’s founding professional advertising and promotion unit, as SVP, management supervisor.  Patricia Colello comes to Altum as a VP, account group supervisor.  Prior to joining Altum, Colello was VP, account supervisor at Integrated Communications.  Shakira Adams will be a new account executive at Altum.  Most recently, Adams worked as a legal assistant at Porzio, Bromberg & Newman. Christopher Luzhak joins Altum as a copywriter and was previously employed as a copywriter at ImageSmith.  Darah Semancik comes to Altum as an art director. Before this, Semancik worked as a graphic designer at American Lawyer Media. Amy Fleischer will work as a traffic coordinator, acting as a liaison between various account team members.  Previously Fleischer worked as a marketing and events manager at Morristown Partnership.

OSG Norwich Pharmaceuticals,  a U.S.-based outsourcing provider of pharmaceutical manufacturing, packaging and associated QA/QC services, has named Christopher Calhoun as president. Calhoun most recently served as vice president, quality and regulatory affairs of OSG Norwich, a position he h
