MANUFACTURERS Jay Speelhoffer has been appointed VP, sales, for Healthpoint’s tissue management division. Speelhoffer, a Healthpoint executive since 2001, was most recently director of sales, tissue management, a position he has held for the past year. In his new role, Speelhoffer will continue to lead the company’s field sales organization. His responsibilities include directing and executing the company’s sales plan with an expanded sales team in several key markets within wound care. Novo Nordisk has appointed Dana Haza as senior director of the National Changing Diabetes Program. Most recently, Haza was with the US Department of Health & Human Services, where she served as interim director of the office of programs and coordination in the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. Her responsibilities included supporting the dissemination and adoption of the Bush administration’s policy on health information technology and the management of the American Health Information Community.  AGENCIES CommonHealth professional agency Carbon has added eight new hires to manage the agency’s continued growth. Gail Berlese joins as a VP, associate creative director/art. Jennifer Kiellar has been named an account supervisor. Beth Wiesner joins as manager of the editorial department. Gabriel Fernandez-Obregon joins as senior graphic designer. Osbaldo Rodriguez joins as an art director. Vicki Fiarman was named business manager, print production services. Gail Schultz comes to Carbon as a senior editor, and Clarissa Dickerson has been named senior traffic coordinator. Lanmark Group has named Tracey Clayton director of operations. Previously, Clayton held the position of operations manager. In her new position, Clayton will be responsible for directing and overseeing Lanmark’s corporate and human resource policies, management objectives and other operational initiatives.
