MANUFACTURERS Novavax has named Mariann Caprino VP of corporate communications and investor relations. A former journalist, Caprino served for nearly a decade as a spokesperson for Pfizer, where she was senior director and team leader of corporate media relations. Caprino will report directly to Novavax CEO Rahul Singhvi. AGENCIES     AbelsonTaylor, has hired Holly Wright as account supervisor in the agency’s DTC/DTP division, Wright will be responsible for the consumer launch of an undisclosed new product. Before joining AbelsonTaylor, Wright was an account director at Element 79 Partners, an agency affiliated with DDB Chicago and part of the Omnicom Group.  Erika Borodinsky and Elena Kanevskaia have been named associates, client services, at CCG Metamedia. Borodinsky was previously at Spectrum Science Communications, where she was senior account executive. Kanevskaia was employed by Cline Davis and Mann, where she was team support manager. CCG Metamedia has also named John Janicki as production coordinator, Daniel Deverell and Nicola Landucci art directors, Eppie Ferranti as meetings manager and Lisa Rosynsky as print associate. Xchange, the relationship-marketing unit of CommonHealth, has announced three new hires and a promotion. John Clark joins Xchange as EVP, managing director. Most recently, Clark was employed at GSW Worldwide, where he developed professional and consumer CRM programs. Charles Di Stefano comes to Xchange as VP, account director. Before this, Di Stefano served as management supervisor at Rapp Collins Worldwide. Janice Furie will serve as account supervisor. Furie was previously employed by Pfizer as a marketing manager. Joann Rude has been promoted from business manager to senior business manager. Rude has been with Xchange for more than two years. InVentiv Health’s The Navicor Group recently announced four new hires. Paul Klemt has been named editor with responsibilities for proofreading copy. Emily Yeager has been named creative coordinator with responsibilities for providing administrative support. Melissa Storer has been named creative services supervisor with responsibilities for project management. Megan Myers has been named copywriter with responsibilities for writing content for various accounts. SUPPLIERS CME Enterprise named Meaghan Donovan medical liaison to the CME team. As a Medical Liaison, Ms. Donovan researches, designs, and implements activities for healthcare professionals in compliance with ACCME, FDA, OIG, and PhRMA Code guidelines.  Relationship marketing services provider Medcenter Solutions, named Paul Kelly as CEO. Kelly was most recently CEO of Orchid Cellmark, a provider of forensic and paternity DNA testing in the US and UK and brings to Medcenter more than 20 years experience as an entrepreneur, practitioner and chief executive in the healthcare, medical and biotechnology sectors. Interactive medical information services provider Informed Medical Communications named Thomas Patton CEO. Patton replaces Robert Goodman who left the company to become president of content and commerce at AOL founder Steve Case’s start-up, Revolution Health Group. MEDIA Elsevier Oncology has named of Devin Gregorie ad sales representative for The Journal of Supportive Oncology. Quadrant Healthcom hired Roxana Aldea as account manager for The Female Patient. Aldea was previously a media planner at Conectics, where she worked on the Esprit and J&J accounts, and prior to that worked on Reckitt Benckiser as a media planner at Media Planning Group. She works alongside account planner Margo Ullmann and reports to SVP Amy Clarke. Thomson Healthcare has hired Roseanne McCauley, SVP of sales for PDR. She was last with Dunn & Bradstreet, where she was SVP, sales and marketing solutions. McCauley replaces Dick Barsamian, who was promoted to EVP, medical education.
