MANUFACTURERS Novo Nordisk has named Howard Levy executive director of clinical research-hemostasis in the company’s clinical development, medical, and regulatory affairs department. Henry Cortina has been named associate VP of information technology in the United States. Levy replaces Marcus Carr, who has been promoted to VP of Novo Nordisk Research US. For the past five years, Levy served as medical director for acute care at Eli Lilly. Martin has joined HealthEd as a coordinator for the health education. Prior to HealthEd, she was director of medical student and resident affairs at the California Academy of Family Physicians.
