Porter Novelli named Susan Hayes global director of health, effective immediately. She replaces Barbara DeBuono, MD, MPH, who recently left the PR firm to head a nonprofit group. Hayes, who will also lead the healthcare practice of Porter Novelli’s New York office, reports to Julie Winskie, global president, clients. She has more than 20 years of experience in healthcare PR and public affairs, working for such agencies as Cooney Waters, Ogilvy & Mather and Porter Novelli, as well as her own consulting firm.
Impax Laboratories hired Mark Schlossberg as SVP and general counsel, responsible for all of Impax’s legal affairs. He joins Impax from Amgen, where he served as VP/ associate general counsel, and has also worked for Medtronic.
