People News: Sandoz, Catalina Marketing and Teva

Sandoz named Don DeGolyer president of US operations and head of commercial operations for North America. DeGolyer was most recently SVP and head of US commercial operations at Sandoz, and was previously SVP US managed markets and established medicines for Novartis' US affiliate.
 
Catalina Marketing hired Ethicon's Renee Selman to serve as president of its health division. Selman spent 20 years at J&J, most recently as worldwide president of the Ethicon women's health and urology business.
 
Teva named Dr. Philip Frost chairman of its board of directors following the resignation of Eli Hurvitz for medical reasons. Frost was vice chairman of Teva's board following its 2006 acquisition of Ivax, where he had been chairman and CEO.
