People news: Siren, HBA and GreenLeaf Health

The Healthcare Businesswomen's Association named Siren Interactive founder and president Wendy White to its board of directors executive committee. White was president of the group's Chicago chapter in 2009 and received the HBA President's Award in 2008.

Former Acting Associate Commissioner for Regulatory Affairs at the Food and Drug Administration Michael Chappell has joined the consulting firm GreenLeaf Health, according to a company statement. The Washington-based firm's website bills itself as an organization staffed by former members of   “FDA, Capitol Hill, top global pharmaceutical companies and the leading U.S. biotechnology trade organization.” The company assists healthcare firms with FDA clearance and compliance. Chappell will be a senior advisor.
