Boehringer Ingelheim has hired Paul Romness as VP government affairs and public policy. Romness will lead that team at the company, with responsibility for executing plans at federal and state levels through the development of regulation, legislation and policy, and will also manage the Boehringer Ingelheim Cares Patient Assistance Program, the Boehringer Ingelheim Product Donation Program and the Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation Political Action Committee. He joins the company from Washington public affairs firm PR Strategies, LLC, where he was principal, and reports to VP public affairs and communications Amy Fry. Previously, he worked government affairs roles at Amgen and Johnson & Johnson.

Keroff Weber has been promoted to senior account supervisor from account supervisor. Samenfeld, newly hired to manage an account for the treatment of acid reflux, has been appointed account executive. Cale, newly hired to account executive, has broad experience in diagnostics, therapeutics, interactive, DTC, med ed and CME.
