Danish biopharmaceutical company Santaris Pharma announced that Soren Tulstrup, previously VP, global human health at Merck, has been appointed president & CEO. He takes over as CEO from Dr. Keith McCullagh, who is retiring but will remain a member of the board of directors of the company.

GSW Worldwide, an inVentiv Health has named Amanda Joly VP, communication planner, and Michael Kleha, VP, integrated media.

Williams-Labadie, part of the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group network, announced the appointment of Frank Bartco to senior account supervisor reporting to Jim Grossman, senior vice president, management supervisor. Bartco will be responsible for the Astellas business, supervising the Adenoscan and Lexiscan promotional accounts. Prior to joining Williams-Labadie, Bartco was president of Trio Applications where he developed the branding and marketing strategy to bring proprietary CME technology to market.
