WhittmanHart Interactive, a Chicago-based digital agency, named Joseph Mastrangelo to lead strategy in its Philadelphia office, focusing primarily on introducing the interactive strategy offering to the shop's pharma clients. Mastrangelo joins from Accenture, where he was manager of customer strategy.

SOCIETIES
The American Heart Association got new leadership as David Josserand took over as national chairman of the board and Timothy Gardner became national president. Josserand is EVP, chief strategic officer of Jacksonville, FL ad/PR shop the Dalton Agency, and Gardner is medical director of the Center for Heart and Vascular Health in Newark, DE.
