Communications Media, Inc. (CMI) has promoted James Woodland, formerly director, finance and new ventures, to executive director, interactive and new ventures. Woodland will remain located at CMI's New York office.
 
e-MDs, an electronic health records developer, appointed David Winn, founder and former CEO, to chairman of the board. Michael Sterns, formerly president at e-MDs, has assumed the role of president and CEO.
