ImmunoGen, a developer of cancer therapeutics, has announced that Daniel Junius, president and COO, will become president and CEO effective January 1, 2009. Mitchel Sayare, currently chairman and CEO, will continue as chairman of the board and director of the company.

Metabolex, a biopharma focused on the treatment of diabetes and related metabolic disorders, has elected Robert Zerbe to its board of directors. Zerbe is the CEO, director and co-founder of QuatRx Pharmaceuticals, and has worked previously for Lilly Research Center, Pfizer and Parke Davis.

HC&B Healthcare has promoted Sarah Drake to account executive. In her new role, Drake will manage accounts in the HC&B clinical division, which includes device pharma and biotech accounts. Drake will report to Amy Smith, account director.
