Pfizer announced the election of Stephen Sanger to its board of directors, effective February 1. Sanger, chairman of General Mills until his retirement in 2008, began his career at Procter & Gamble in 1970. He is currently a director of Target Corporation and Wells Fargo & Company.
 
APT Pharmaceuticals, a specialty drug manufacturer focused on inhaled treatments for serious lung diseases, has appointed Stephen Aselage to its board of directors, effective immediately. Aselage is currently SVP, global commercial development, at BioMarin Pharmaceuticals.
 
Monique Levy has been appointed senior director of research at Manhattan Research, a Decision Resources company. Levy was most recently a senior analyst at JupiterResearch, and led that company's health coverage.
