MacroGenics, Inc., a biotech focused on immunotherapeutics, has appointed Eric Risser to VP, business development. Risser was previously senior director, business development at Johnson & Johnson.

 

Epsilon hired Andrew Bast as SVP, general manager at Purple@Epsilon. Bast was previously SVP, director of strategy, CRM and planning at Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare and its sibling Glow Worm, and has worked on brands such as Nexium, Prilosec, Seroquel, Enbrel and Amitiza.

 

AbelsonTaylor announced three promotions: Paul Tursky and Holly Wright from account supervisor to senior account supervisor, and Rich Campbell from senior account executive to account supervisor. Tursky will provide strategic and tactical counsel for a portfolio of diabetes products. Wright will lead several DTC/DTP brands in oncology and immunology, and Campbell will play a lead role in the launch of a new diabetes product, according to an AbelsonTaylor release.
