Mylan announced the appointment of Andrew Cuneo to vice president of global business development. Cuneo is responsible for Mylan's global business development and strategic efforts. Cuneo was most recently an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.


Global public relations firm Burson-Marsteller has appointed Lisa Davidson to managing director of the firm's global healthcare practice. Davidson, most recently a partner at Porter Novelli, will report to global healthcare chair Gail Cohen.


EpiCept Corp., a specialty pharma focused on cancer treatment and pain management, appointed A. Collier Smyth to its board of directors. Smyth is a retired senior vice president of medical strategy at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He also serves on the board of directors at Ariad Pharmaceuticals.


Pfizer announced the appointment of Martine George to vice president of medical affairs for its oncology business unit. George will be responsible for managing external relationships with cancer agencies, organizations and specialists. George was most recently SVP of drug development and chief medical officer at GPC Biotech. Before that, she served as SVP, head of oncology for Johnson & Johnson.
