Shire appointed Anne Wilms to senior vice president and chief information officer. Wilms, based in Shire's Pennsylvania office, will oversee global strategy and implementation of Shire's information technology services. Wilms was previously chief information officer at Rohm & Haas, a global chemicals company.

 

Geron, a California-based biopharma focused on cancer treatments and chronic degenerative diseases, announced two appointments: Stephen Kelsey, EVP, chief medical officer for oncology; and Hassan Movahhed, vice president of clinical operations for oncology. Kelsey was previously VP, clinical hematology/oncology at Genentech. Movahhed was most recently VP and head of global clinical operations at Elan Biopharmaceuticals.

 

Lanmark Group, a full-service B-to-B marketing and PR agency, appointed Edwin Decena as multimedia developer. Decena will be responsible for development and implementation of websites, web-hosted applications, videos and multimedia presentations across Lanmark's portfolio of clients.
