Device manufacturer Apieron announced the appointment of two VPs: Steve Bubrick was appointed to VP, sales and marketing, and Bryan Miller was appointed to VP, finance. Bubrick was previously VP of customer care and reimbursement at Insulet Corp. Miller was most recently principle at Berkshire Financial Management.

 

Generics manufacturer Watson Pharmaceuticals promoted Patricia Eisenhaur to VP, investor relations and corporate communications. Eisenhaur was previously executive director, investor relations. Prior to Watson, Eisenhaur worked in investor relations at Alza Corp, a Johnson & Johnson subsidiary.

 

The US Senate officially confirmed Margaret “Peggy” Hamburg to lead the FDA. Hamburg is a former New York City Health Commissioner.
