Tim Garde
has joined The Star Group as a managing partner, where he will be responsible for growing the agency's pharmaceutical division. Garde joins from Vox Medica in Philadelphia, where he was most recently EVP and general manager of the healthcare marketing communications group.  Earlier in his career, he served on a senior level management task force for a Bristol-Myers Squibb new business initiative and prior to that was a SVP of McKesson Corporation. Garde also serves as co-chairman of the Healthcare Marketing and Communications Council account service program and provides mentoring and guidance to pharmacy students at The University of Sciences in Philadelphia

Natrel Communications has hired Katie Lombardo as assistant account executive. Lombardo brings experience on both the client and agency sides, having previously held positions at Integrated Communications Corp. and Dava Pharmaceuticals. Natrel has also added Alane Amato as traffic coordinator.

HealthEd has hired the following new staff members. Chandani Rao has been named director of digital development. Rao was previously director of client services at the SPI Group. Marissa Addalia joins as account supervisor. Most recently, she was an account supervisor at DDB Worldwide. She has also worked in pharmaceutical sales in the respiratory business unit at Sanofi-Aventis. William Robinson has been named account supervisor. Most recently, Robinson was the director of field operations at All-Ways In-Store. Jennifer Jones joins as an account executive. Jones was previously an account coordinator at the Eden Communications Group. Christopher Kelly comes aboard at HealthEd as manager of health education. He was previously manager of the Lankenau Health Education Center for the Main Line Health System. Kindra Harting-Smith has been hired as manager of strategic services. Prior to joining HealthEd, Harting-Smith worked for AT&T in marketing management and was VP-account services at DVC Worldwide. Rick Ambrosia has been named production manager. Ambrosia was senior production manager and studio supervisor at Eden Communications Group. Anne Winthrop Esposito has been appointed senior editor from the Research and Education Association.
