AbelsonTaylor has hired Steven Gregg, PhD, as an account director. He will manage an account in the insomnia category and report to Cindy Stone, vice president and account director. An integrated marketing specialist with a science background, Gregg has wide-ranging commercial and academic experience, With a number of international swimming titles to his credit—including a 1976 Olympic silver medal in the 200-meter butterfly—he believes in total immersion as the key to understanding clients' business needs. Gregg, joins AbelsonTaylor from the Chicago office of Hackworth Lee, where he was vice president and group account director in the marketing, communications and strategic planning practice.
Wunderman New York has added Ira Haimowitz as group director of data strategy, with primary responsibility for healthcare accounts. Haimowitz brings a wealth of client-side leadership experience in pharmaceuticals, financial services, insurance, and retail. He reports to Mark Taylor, EVP, chief marketing technology officer. Haimowitz spent four years at General Electric research and development, followed by eight years at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and one year at Organon Pharmaceuticals (of Akzo Nobel). Across these companies, in US and internationally, Haimowitz has spearheaded efforts for innovative marketing and sales analytics for both the consumer and business sectors.
