Donna Hill has accepted the position of studio manager from Euro RSCG Life MetaMax in Lambertville, NJ, where she held the position of senior art director. Chris Hatton joins as copy supervisor. Previously, Hatton held the position of copy supervisor at Vox Medica in Philadelphia, PA. Joe Darby has been promoted from desktop publishing specialist to senior desktop publishing specialist. Lisa McCloskey has been promoted from assistant account executive to account executive.
Centron has announced the following promotions and additions to its staff. Keith Troy has joined Centron as senior project manager. Previously, Troy was a traffic manager at Chandler Chicco. Jeremy Henriques comes to the medical education division as an associate scientific director from uniformed services university, where he recently earned a PhD in neuroscience. Julie Ann Schipper was hired as VP, account supervisor. Previously, she was VP, account supervisor at GSW. Michael McSwain has been promoted from intern to project coordinator.
Dowden Health Media has announced the addition of Kenneth Sylvia as publisher of Current Psychiatry. Sylvia spent the first 20 years of his publishing career at Cliggott Publishing in Greenwich, CT, where he launched the Journal of Critical Illness, an internal medicine specialty publication and managed Consultant in the early 1990s. Sylvia also established Alliance Medical Communications—leading to the introduction of Women's Health in Primary Care—where, following the company's sale to Jobson, he spent the next four years in management positions. Most recently, he was part of the team at Hearst Business Media's Division.
