Pfizer delays advertising Exubera

Pfizer will hold off on advertising Exubera to consumers for one year while it focuses on education. Pfizer CEO Hank McKinnell told attendees at a June Goldman Sachs Global Healthcare Conference that the company would focus on educating professionals on the inhaled insulin, doubling the length of its 6-month moratorium on DTC ads for new drugs.
