GlaxoSmithKline announced Wednesday that its over-the-counter weight-loss pill Alli is available again in US stores after a nearly 12-month reprieve since it pulled all Alli bottles in late March 2014. The drugmaker voluntarily recalled the weight-loss products from US and Puerto Rico retailers after GSK suspected some of the packages had been tampered with and could contain counterfeit pills. The drugmaker had received inquiries from seven states that Alli packaging did not contain Alli product.
