Pharmas spent $16 million on DTC in WV, according to report

A report by West Virginia's Pharmaceutical Cost Management Council said pharmas spent $16 million on DTC advertising in the state from July 2007 through December 2007. The 111 companies that filed forms with the agency also disclosed 14,933 gifts, grants or payments to state physicians.
