PhRMA sends lawyers to meet with HECC staff

PhRMA sent a delegation of lawyers to meet with House Energy and Commerce Committee staffers to try and head off new regulations and discuss recent work on an update of PhRMA's DTC guidelines. House Energy and Commerce Committee chair John Dingell told the Wall Street Journal Health Blog he was “pleased” with the meeting but “expects results within a credible timeframe or we will be forced to consider whether a public airing would be a more productive way to proceed.”
