Baxter Healthcare has selected Purohit Navigation as its agency of record to launch hylenex recombinant (hyaluronidase human injection) for hospital-based rehydration. Hylenex recombinant is the first and only human recombinant hyaluronidase that is used to facilitate subcutaneous rehydration.  
    
Cegedim Dendrite announced the commercial availability of the latest version of its flagship suite, Mobile Intelligence 5.0. According to company officials, it provides robust functionality to improve the effectiveness of commercial teams within a life sciences company such as primary care, specialty care, managed care, key account management, consumer health, key opinion leader management and animal health. The product enables centralization of key customer information across the enterprise.

Boehringer Ingelheim will cut about 800 jobs, 30% of its sales force by November. According to a company spokesperson, the move is in line with the company's overall reorganization strategy.  A little more than 2,200 reps will remain after the downsizing. In April 2009, BI said a safe forecast for business development in 2009 and beyond is difficult.
