Publicis creates Halo around RM, interactive

Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, a division of Paris-based Publicis Groupe, announced the creation of Halo, an advertising agency specializing in interactive and relationship marketing.
Halo will be based in New York and led by managing director Rebecca Sroge, formerly EVP of Saatchi & Saatchi Consumer Healthcare CRM, along with creative director Norbert Fructeau de Laclos.

“The name Halo captures the spirit and mission of our new agency,” explained Sroge. “Our services look to an integrated approach that drives synergy and added value, creating a ‘halo' effect from our core efforts.

“Halo also is a military acronym for High Altitude, Low Opening, referring to a type of very strategic skydiving. Finding that window of opportunity and timing your CRM efforts makes the difference between success and failure.”

Halo's service offerings will include strategic planning, brand development, database marketing, advertising, direct marketing and interactive communications.

The new agency will report into Mike Trepicchio, CEO of Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Communications.
