Quadrant HealthCom Inc. (QHI), the Parsippany, NJ-based multimedia communications company specializing in healthcare, has announced the appointment of Mary Holeton to the position of president and chief executive officer. Holeston, who was previously senior vice president and general manager of UBM Medica—a division of United Business Media – brings to the company 23 years' worth of experience in multi-channel medical publishing. She replaces former president and CEO of 14 years, Stephen Stoneburn, who has assumed the role of chairman at QHI.
In a statement released by the company about Holeton's appointment, Stoneburn observes, “What we have here is an ideal match of skills with needs/ opportunities. Our business units are performing well, our strategic initiatives are successfully rolling out, and our staff and organization are stronger than at any other time in our operating history. Marcy is uniquely qualified to lead QHI by providing strategic direction based on her proven track record of achieving business milestones, building enduring client partnerships, and mentoring sales teams in the pharmaceutical and medical device markets.”
“QHI is appealing to me on many levels: the respected product brands, the wealth of staff expertise and a history of creating unique custom products for their client partners,” says Holeton in regards to what drew her to the media firm. “The company actively pursues acquisitions and partnerships, always seeking new ways to grow and strengthen the portfolio. The environment is entrepreneurial and nimble, so it's an exciting time to join the team.”
In her new position, Holeton will be working closely with JoAnn Wahl, who was recently appointed to the position of EVP, QHI, and president of the company's primary care division. Holeton and Wahl, in addition to CFO Doug Grose, now make up QHI's core executive leadership team.
