Generic drugmaker Actavis announced it will restructure its specialty brands business and has appointed four business unit leaders to coincide with the move. Its specialty brands arm will now function as four separate units—women's health, urology/gastroenterology, dermatology/established brands and business operations. Herm Cukier will lead women's health, Charles Sabino will head urology/GI and Thomas Griffin will oversee the business operations team. The company is actively seeking a fourth business leader to run the dermatology/established brands unit. The four will report to Tim Callahand, SVP, commercial operations.
