Reps. introduce legislation to reverse medical device decision

In a move that has implications for drugmakers seeking relief from state court product liability lawsuits, Reps. Frank Pallone (D-NJ) and Henry Waxman (D-CA) have introduced legislation to reverse the decision in Riegel v. Medtronic that immunizes medical device companies from state suits brought by patients injured by certain medical devices.
