3. Pharmaceutical companies should invest more heavily in digital as part of their payer-marketing efforts, a new survey found. About 44% of the pharmacy and therapeutics committee members surveyed by DRG Digital's Manhattan Research would tap digital resources more frequently if such content were available. (Fierce Pharma)

4. President Donald Trump reiterated earlier comments that drug prices are “out of control” and the companies that market them are “getting away with murder.” (MarketWatch)

5. A federal judge in Texas said that four patents for Allergan's dry-eye treatment Restasis are invalid. The drugmaker was criticized for trying to protect the patents by giving them to a Native American tribe. (NYT)
