Schering-Plough names Raymond Russo as VP of cholesterol marketing
Schering-Plough Corporation has promoted Raymond Russo to VP, global cholesterol marketing.
Most recently, Russo served as VP, US cholesterol marketing.
Since joining Schering-Plough in 1982 as a financial analyst, Russo has held a number of increasingly responsible positions within the company’s finance, contracts and marketing organizations.
In his most recent role, Russo was in charge of Zetia and Vytorin in the company’s cholesterol joint venture in the US and was instrumental in driving higher sales and market share of the franchise.
In his new position, Russo retains his previous duties and assumes responsibility for the cholesterol franchise for the rest of the world, excluding Japan.
