SearchMedica adds new component

Share this article:, a free search engine for physicians and medical practioners, has launched a new practice management category.

The new category will provide financial, legal and administrative resources and content in an effort to address the everyday challenges of running a successful medical practice, according to a company spokesperson.

“Doctors who use SearchMedica tell us about the challenges of running a medical practice, such as dealing with third-party payors and coding,” said Cyndy Finnie, senior product manager for SearchMedica, in a statement.
“The resources available through SearchMedica's Practice Management search category help practice managers…allowing them to focus more of their time and energy on patient care,” she said.

SearchMedica allows advertisers to target specific search categories and pairs contextual ads as well as side banners with search results.
