Wolters Kluwer Health launched a software platform for nurses, pharmacists, therapists and other caregivers to provide clinical decision support at the point of care.

The software, ProVation Care Plans, developed through a partnership with Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, is used in the hospital setting and delivers starting care plans for patients, according to Laura Gilbert, director, marketing communications, clinical solutions at Wolters Kluwer Health. The evidence-based starting plans offer suggested therapy instructions, and also link to Ovid journal collections. The technology provides a platform for committees to customize plans, said Gilbert.
