Whittmanhart acquires Insight Interactive Group

Whittmanhart, a Chicago-based company that provides digital communications, has acquired Insight Interactive Group, a full service interactive communications firm specializing in the healthcare and pharmaceutical vertical markets.
"Insight Interactive brings a great group of talented professionals with an outstanding track record and client roster in the interactive space. We're thrilled to have them join the Whittmanhart family," said Bob Bernard, chief executive and president of Whittmanhart.
The acquisition deepens Whittmanhart vertical market expertise, geographic breadth and introduces additional media solutions and expertise for their clients. The acquisition also positions the firm as a leader in the interactive industry. Based on the Advertising Age Agency Report of 2004 ranked by revenue, Whittmanhart is poised to emerge as one of the Top 20 interactive agencies in the nation.
In addition to enhancing Whittmanhart's presence in Milwaukee, Chicago, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, Insight Interactive Group adds a new location in Philadelphia plus the strength of their online media and search engine marketing unit.
