The app, available for free download to iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad, allows patients and their caregivers to create and share profiles about severe allergies with friends, family members, teachers, school nurses, camp counselors, daycare providers and babysitters. Features also include a how-to video for the EpiPen Auto-injector and a user guide slideshow to help users visualize the injection process.

Levitra.com led the pack among product websites that drove consumers to the doctors to request a prescription, according to a Manhattan Research survey. After Levitra, the brand.com sites for Chantix, Cialis, Nexium (purplepill.com), Yaz, Lyrica, NuvaRing, Symbicort, Viagra and Lunesta were the most likely to drive visitors to request a prescription from their doctor. Many of the top sites, such as those for sleep aid Lunesta and PPI Nexium, feature doctor discussion guides or worksheets on their websites, noted Manhattan Research.
