In the two years since joining GCI Health, Victoria Fort has transformed the agency’s approach to oncology communications and early-stage company development so that the two go hand-in-hand. Her in-depth knowledge of the rapidly developing space — in which there are over a thousand new drugs in development — has helped the agency more than double its revenue in oncology.
Fort started her career as a grassroots lobbyist in Washington, DC, which instilled in her a passion for ensuring patient voices are heard. (She currently volunteers with the Global Liver Institute Academy and its training program.) The experience also enables her to help clients navigate a wide array of issues, such as compassionate use and drug regulation.
From there, Fort led key accounts across the Chandler Chicco/Syneos Health network of biopharma and consumer health clients, and then served as public relations firm Ruder Finn’s Washington, DC, expert.
