Diana Tran Chavez, U.S. group creative director, has spent 13 years in healthcare advertising, eight of them at Mind+Matter. After starting in the Boston office, Chavez quickly rose up the copywriting ranks, taking on new challenges. Four years ago she headed west, to start the agency’s West Coast office, which she has grown creatively while building relationships with clients in the area. Chavez’s work in the rare disease space, including eight product launches, has brought life-changing treatments to millions. In 2020, Chavez’s creative team spearheaded Black Health Matters, a 30-day takeover of Mind+Matter’s social media accounts with posts about health disparities that affect Black Americans.
