Publicis Strategic Solutions Group appointed Laura Marsh Lynner to chief operation officer. Lynner was previously EVP and managing director of Scientific Voice, a Publicis-owned speaker bureau company serving the pharmaceutical industry. Lynner is charged with day-to-day operations of Publicis’ strategic solutions group, comprised of Publicis Selling Solutions, Scientific Voice, Pharmagistics and Arista Marketing Associates.

Palio, an inVentiv Health company, launched a social media monitoring tool called Susurro. The tool hones in on discussions about brands and competitors, to provide an “in-depth understanding of marketing messages and brand positions within the context of the brand,” according to a statement. The tool was developed in-house by the research and analytics team.

MS&L launched a new “breaking the code” approach, billed as a way to leverage proprietary healthcare consulting tools and a new group of senior advisors from the realms of advocacy, government affairs, corporate health, cause marketing, social media and mobile. MS&L’s new “code breaker” team includes Nancy Glick, Peter Harris, Scott Beaudoin, Webster Lewin and Allyson Clarke.
