What was your biggest break?
Meeting Jack (Jacqueline Nolan) at art school, we’ve worked together ever since.
What’s the best and/or worst part of your job?
Seeing great work or thinking makes my heart sing, missed opportunities not so much.
What’s the view like from your office/work area?
My door faces a wall and the window overlooks a rooftop bar. So I spend as much time as possible in the middle of the agency getting involved.
How long is a typical meeting with clients?
One to two hours. The longer the better.
Does your office have a favorite lunch and/or after-hours place?
The Churchill does a great Scotch egg and a pint.
What was your greatest professional challenge?
Getting people to embrace the unexpected.
Where will you be in five years?
Hopefully still in the middle of it—so far I haven’t thought of anything else I’d rather do.
If you were to write a book, what would the title be?
That was Fast
