SCOTT WEINTRAUB
Chief Marketing Officer, Principal
HRM—Healthcare Regional Marketing

What was your big break?
Getting hired by Procter & Gamble and becoming an Assistant Brand Manager and then a Brand Manager in the consumer packaged goods industry were big breaks, as was getting hired by Pfizer.

What’s the view like from your office/work area?
Our office is in Lambertville, New Jersey. From my office I have a huge window and I can see the Delaware River.

What’s the best and/or worst part of your job?
The best part of my job is promoting employees.

Who is the person you most admire in your area of work?
My first VP at Pfizer, Pat Andrews, was the most strategically gifted person I’ve ever worked with.

What was your greatest professional challenge?
Regional marketing requires a complex, diverse skill set.  A great regional marketer has to have a broad, yet deep understanding of healthcare including payers, providers, population, prescribers.

Where will you be in five years?
In the past three years, HRM has grown 1,800%. While I expect our growth to slow, I still expect large growth rate for the next five years.
