GSW Worldwide has promoted Marcee Nelson to executive creative director of its Columbus office. She will report to Joe Daley, president of GSW Worldwide/Columbus.
Nelson was promoted from senior vice president/group creative director within GSW Worldwide’s women’s health practice.
“Marcee has been instrumental in many of GSW Worldwide’s successes over the past year,” said Daley. “She helped build the agency’s women’s health practice and has been a pivotal member in many of our new business wins. With her unique blend of experience on a variety of blockbuster brands, she is ideally suited to lead our creative department and collaborate with our clients to deliver work that exceeds their expectations.”
Nelson’s promotion will enable Bruce Rooke, chief creative officer, to evolve in his responsibilities and focus more of his time overseeing creative efforts at GSW Worldwide’s New York and London offices, and collaborating with the agency’s global partners.
“As our work in New York and globally continues to expand, it is important to have a consistent creative vision across all of our offices,” said Phil Deschamps, president and chief executive of GSW Worldwide. “With Marcee’s recent promotion, Bruce will be able to focus on developing universal creative standards that enhance our brand and will help us deliver liberating ideas for our clients worldwide.”
