Grammy-winning singer Jennifer Hudson and Genentech scientist Shiva Malik have teamed up in a StandUp2Cancer PSA that kicks off this month. The digital, print, broadcast and radio push is titled “Two Worlds. One Dream.” The focus is to show how a group effort can help fight cancer, as well as highlight the scientists behind potentially life-saving discoveries.
“I’m proud to join Genentech and Stand Up To Cancer on this PSA campaign, which showcases cancer researchers as the rock stars they really are and highlights the importance of supporting their work” Hudson said in a statement.
Stand Up To Cancer raises money for cancer research and works to raise cancer awareness. It is also supported by organizations including Major League Baseball, Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Pfizer and Amgen.
