Horsham, PA healthcare agency Dudnyk has realigned its management team in the wake of the recent departure of former general manager Fred Robbins, who split with the agency sometime last month “to pursue other interests,” an agency spokesman said. Further details of Robbins parting of ways with Dudnyk were undisclosed. As a result, Lorna Weir has been named agency president.Weir previously served as SVP, director of client services. She joined Dudnyk in 1999, in the role of director of client services, and since has managed a variety of accounts including work for Shire, OSI Pharmaceuticals, Bayer Healthcare, OraPharma, Genzyme Biosurgery, Bausch & Lomb consumer and DuPont.Weir leads a new management team consisting of Frank Powers, promoted to EVP, management supervisor from VP, associate director of client services; Barry Schmader, a 20-year Dudnyk veteran who now takes on the role of EVP, creative director and Chuck Jefferies, who has been named VP, creative director, art. “Our management team is now designed to increase the focus of the firm on meeting the critical industry need,” of extending the life cycle of brands, said agency CEO Ed Dudnyk in a statement. The management team is “ideally suited to lead the firm as we direct our energies on this need going forward,” Dudnyk added.
