Former head of the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Farzad Mostashari, is leading a startup to help primary care physicians create Accountable Care Organizations. Modern Healthcare reports that Venrock provided $4.5 million in startup funds.

Mostashari’s leadership crew includes EVP Mat Kendall, who previously worked for an ONC regional extension center program.
