Richard Levy, the president of HealthSTAR Advertising has resigned.
Levy, 41, was in charge of overall operations and strategic direction for the advertising division of the HealthSTAR marketing network. He also brought in six major accounts along with top-notch talent to handle them. A specialist in medical marketing strategy, he will be exploring career opportunities while providing consulting services to companies in the pharmaceutical industry.
Before being recruited by HealthSTAR chief executive, Jerry Brager, Levy was chief executive of Atlanta-based, Adair-Greene. In his eight years with the agency, where he created the healthcare division from scratch, the business quintupled in size.
