Relationship marketing firm Patient Marketing Group (PMG)
has joined forces with the consumer Web site Discovery.com as a provider of the Internet portal’s health-related content.
As part of the deal announced this week, content from PMG’s online medical encyclopedia will be made available on the Discovery Health section of Discovery.com as well as DiscoveryHospital.com, a consumer health Internet content service
designed for hospitals.
“This multi-year agreement will create a large-scale new media resource for our clients to more precisely target health promotions to prospects who are actively searching for such information,” said Lynn Benzing, PMG president.
Consumers will be able to link to PMG from Discovery.com, bringing them “into our environment, where we can learn more about them,” Benzing said.
“Several aspects of content delivery are still under development,” Benzing added.
