Longtime publisher Krakoff dies

B-to-B publisher Bob Krakoff died of a heart attack March 23 at his Boston home.

B-to-B publisher Bob Krakoff died of a heart attack March 23 at his Boston home. Krakoff, 71, was chairman and CEO of Advanstar from 1996-2004. Before joining Advanstar, he spent 23 years at Reed Elsevier, rising to vice chairman. At the time of his death, he was president and CEO of Nielsen Business Media. He is survived by wife Sandra, two sons and a daughter.
